For the most part, Herman enjoyed his new tree log. It was larger and there was enough room for he and Little Pig to snuggle up together. But, it didn’t have a back and that was a problem. There was nothing worse than settling down for the night, only to be woken up by an overhead light. Over and over again. The guardian, who was woken up daily by his special lamps at 7 AM whether she wanted to be or not, was not as sympathetic as he’d hoped.
